Chocolate Cake
1/2 cup butter
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
2 eggs
6 ounces melted chocolate (baker's semi-sweet)
3/4 cup whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups cake flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sour cream
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Cream butter and sugar. Add in eggs. Add chocolate,
sour cream, and vanilla. Beat in remaining ingredients.
Pour batter into two (2) 8" round pans and bake for 35 minutes.
Cool and ice with peanut butter icing!
Peanut Butter Frosting
1 cup peanut butter
4 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup scalded milk
1/2 teaspoon flavor
Cream until smooth.
