(with Vegetable Sauce) 4-6 small steaks Cook individually-wrapped in crock pot (lowest setting) overnight. Remove and refrigerate steaks. Keep juice in crock pot. ¼ cup oil and flour to thicken. Brown over medium heat. Add 1 can chopped tomatoes and salt and pepper to taste. Add enough water to make a smooth gravy. Add carrots and broccoli to taste. Add gravy back to juice in crock pot and simmer on low until tender. Warm steaks and top with vegetable sauce. Enjoy! |
2 cups self-rising flour ½ cup Crisco 1¼ cup buttermilk Preheat oven to 400°. Cut Crisco into flour. Stir in buttermilk -- lightly. Be careful not to over-handle! Roll out on floured counter and cut out biscuits. Bake for 20-30 minutes. |
