Beef Chuck Tender Steaks
(with Vegetable Sauce)

4-6 small steaks
Cook individually-wrapped in crock pot (lowest setting) overnight.
Remove and refrigerate steaks.
Keep juice in crock pot.

¼ cup oil and flour to thicken. Brown over medium heat.
Add 1 can chopped tomatoes and salt and pepper to taste.
Add enough water to make a smooth gravy.
Add carrots and broccoli to taste.
Add gravy back to juice in crock pot and simmer on low until tender.
Warm steaks and top with vegetable sauce. Enjoy!

Southern Biscuits

2 cups self-rising flour
½ cup Crisco
1¼ cup buttermilk

Preheat oven to 400°.
Cut Crisco into flour.
Stir in buttermilk -- lightly.
Be careful not to over-handle!
Roll out on floured counter and cut out biscuits.
Bake for 20-30 minutes.
