Butternut Cake
(in cascading pan)

1½ granulated sugar
2½ cups all-purpose flour
1½ cups (3 sticks) butter (softened)
1½ teaspoons baking powder
5 eggs
2 teaspoons butternut flavoring

Preheat oven to 325° and pan coat cascading Bunt pan.

Cream sugar and butter in mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, flavoring and mix until smooth.
Add flour and baking powder, mix for one (1) minute.

Pour batter in prepared pan and bake for
50-55 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted
near the center comes out clean.

Cool in pan for twenty (20) minutes.
Remove from pan; cool completely on a wire rack.
Dust with confectioner's sugar.
