| Strawberry Pie with Chocolate Crust

Crust
1 package chocolate graham crackers (crushed)
1 stick butter or margerine (softened)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix well and press into pie plate.
Bake for 10-15 minutes and cool.

| Pie Filling
4 cups fresh strawberries (Two (2) 16-ounce frozen bags)
1 cup granulated sugar
Cook until strawberries are well done (10 minutes, very slow).
Dissolve 5 tablespoons of cornstarch into 1/2 cup water. Add water to strawberries and stir in 1 tablespoon butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Cook until juice becomes clear -- about one (1) minute.
Chill until set. (At least one (1) hour.)Bake for 10-15 minutes and cool.

| Soft Custard for Strawberry Parfait
2 whole eggs
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup milk
Cook over very slow heat until soft set.
Chill and serve over fresh strawberries.
