| Angel Food Cake (Light as air and NO fat!!) |

| 10" tube pan 1 cup cake flour 1 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar 1 1/2 cups egg whites (about 12 eggs) 1 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar 1/3 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup granulated sugar Sift flour and confectioner's sugar together. Measure egg whites, add cream of tartar, salt, vanilla, and granulated sugar -- beat until foamy. Then beat until stiff peaks form. Stir gradually into cake flour and confectioner's sugar mixture. Pour into ungreased tube pan and bake in 350 degree oven for 50-58 minutes (until top is golden brown). |
